Instructor of "Crash Course: The replica approach and its applications in communications"

Aris L. Moustakas received a B.S. degree in physics from Caltech in 1990 and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in theoretical condensed matter physics from Harvard University in 1992 and 1996, respectively. He joined Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies, NJ in 1998, first in the Physical Sciences Division and then also in the Wireless Advanced Technology Laboratory. He is currently an assistant professor at the Physics Dept. of the National Capodistrian University of Athens, Greece. In 2013-2014 he will hold a part-time Digiteo Chair position at Supelec, France. Dr. Moustakas served as Associate Editor for the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INFORMATION THEORY (2009-2012). His main research interests lie in the areas of multiple antenna systems and the applications of game theory and statistical physics to the theory of communications and networks.
