Apostolos Destounis was born in Athens , Greece. He obtained the Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens in 2009 and the M.Sc. in Communications and Signal Processing from Imperial College London in 2010. From January 2011 to May 2014 he was with the Large Networks and Systems Group (LANEAS) at Supelec and Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs France, working towards a Ph.D. on the topic of traffic-aware retource allocation and feedback design in wireless networks. He successfully defended his PhD thesis in Supelec on 9 May 2014. Since May 2014 he is working as a researcher in the Mathematical and Alogrithmic Sciences Lab, Huawei Technologies France Research Center in Paris.
